Born in Sarabari village of Darrang district, Assam.

Devoted ten years as a primary school teacher, nurturing rural minds.

Served as President of Sarabari Gaon Panchayat and twice as Member of Darrang Zilla Parishad.

Founded Andherighat Maharshi School and the Manav Kalyan social welfare organisation.

Passed away on 20 August 2025. The Trust is established on 5 October 2025 to carry his ideals forward.
