Kalyan Kiran Health Camp, Deomornoi
On 19 February 2026, the Trust organised a free health camp at Deomornoi under the Kalyan Kiran initiative. The camp brought together doctors, volunteers and community members to provide health screenings, consultations and wellness guidance to underserved families in the region.
Kalyan Kiran Health Camp, Bihaigaon
On 22 June 2026, the Trust hosted a free Jana Swasthya Seva Shibir at Bihaigaon Primary School under the Kalyan Kiran initiative — in association with Yutiya Swasthya Seva Sanchalakalaya and under the supervision of the Darrang Cancer Centre. The camp offered eye check-ups with free spectacles, blood pressure and blood sugar screening, and awareness & screening for oral, breast and cervical cancer.
Distribution of Free Eye Glasses
Under the Kalyan Kiran initiative, the Trust distributes free prescription spectacles to elderly villagers and underprivileged families across Darrang. After eye check-ups at our health camps, our volunteers personally visit homes in remote hamlets to hand-deliver the fitted glasses — restoring clear vision and dignity to those who need it most.
Cheque Distribution — Financial Assistance
Under the Kalyan Kiran initiative, the Trust extends direct financial assistance to cancer patients and families in medical distress across rural Assam. Cheques are hand-delivered by our volunteers at the beneficiary's home — a simple, dignified gesture that eases the burden of treatment costs and reminds each family that they are not alone in their fight.
International Yoga Day 2026 Celebration
Under the Kalyan Kiran initiative, the Trust celebrated International Yoga Day 2026 across multiple villages in Darrang district, bringing together hundreds of women, children and community members for a morning of guided yoga, breath-work and wellness awareness. The sessions echoed the global theme — "Yoga for Harmony, Health, and Humanity" — and reinforced our mission to carry preventive health and mindfulness to one lakh rural citizens.
